uh shit.. i haf bad news.. i hate to disappoint u all but.. there's not gg to be an overnight camp (and i think there'll nv be again).
all bcos of mr nur. =(
however, it's still gonna be a 2-day camp on e 1st & 2nd july. reporting times i'm not sure yet. i will update u all asap. and we're gonna break camp v early cos mrs heng cancelled and cut short many activities (hmph!).. putting dat aside, lemme 'brief' u all abt e upcoming choir camp.
ok first, i'll summarize e general objectives of e camp in 2 words: discipline and fun. u all shud noe wad it means eh? this is a training camp like e prev one.. so seniors, *er herm* pls behave urselves! *glares at da tou*
i've personally laid down objectives for us seniors so dat we all noe wad to do during e camp and not go there without any aim.. and i think as seniors, we shud HELP out since we wan to go back. e objectives for seniors:
- bond e choir members tgt
- talk to sec3s regarding taking over esp. e prospective exco members (we'll noe who they are when we get to e camp)
reminder: this camp is NOT for selecting exco members.
warning: DO NOT interfere. only guide and help whenever we can.
attire
hair: u noe wad is appropriate
top: preferably any JSS shirt
bottom: i think anything shud be can
footwear: shoes and nth else
things to bring
- an alert and positive mind
- bring ur toiletries if u wan to shower in sch
food
i told ching lee not to order any food for us (i'm sorry if i didn't seek ur consent cos i had to give her e ans immediately). btw, e sch's paying for all meals except for breakfast. as for us, we can take e leftover packets or go outside and get our own food (it's much nicer than e catered ones).
jus some background info which might be useful for u:
rasidin was sec3 last yr and is still sec3 this yr. don worry, he did not retain. he was in sec3 NT stream last yr and has been promoted to sec3 NA stream this yr. he's not allowed to move on to sec4 NA stream for e gap between sec3 NT and sec4 NA is too wide. yupp.. hope u all get it.
purpose of telling u this? well, rasidin is in e current exco as baritone SL and he will be e president of e upcoming exco. this is confirmed. however, whether he will be instructor tgt wif his current exco or as camper wif e sec3s, it's not confirmed yet, but most likely he'll be instructor. (or else he bei instructed by his own comm members v funny you mei you..)
as for e other sec3s, i cannot say anything here since some of them haf access to this site.
one more thing, e whole sch is gg to pass down on e 5th of july (yupp e date has been changed) but choir's gonna go ahead wif e AGM first. it shud be on sat before break camp.
last but not least, MaRj reserves e right to whack any of u *glares at da tou* shud u misbehave or do not comply to e rules during camp.
p.s. pls sms me or leave a msg on e tagboard and state whether u're coming for e camp and on which day. for me, i'll be coming and staying for e 2 full days (u shud too!).
